The Small Business/Self-Employed (SB/SE) Decreasing Non-Filers Project Committee works to provide feedback on decreasing the amount of individual and business non-filers. The IRS has developed several non-filer initiatives to address this issue, including legislative proposals, information matching from state agencies, non-filer communications outreach and enhanced internal performance measures.
