TAP Meetings and Events

The business of the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP) is largely conducted via teleconference and face-to-face committee meetings. Each TAP committee conducts a monthly teleconference meeting and has one face-to-face meeting each year. Teleconference meetings are audio-only telephone conference calls.
The meetings are open to the public and announced in advance in the Federal Register. Since TAP members serve as listening posts, gathering input from taxpayers on IRS issues, public attendance at TAP meetings is welcome.
A schedule of upcoming TAP meetings is provided below. Please call the contact person shown for a specific meeting if you have questions about or would like to dial in to a teleconference or attend a face-to-face TAP meeting.

The The TAP Joint Committee has scheduled an open meeting via teleconference at 1:30 p.m. ET. The agenda will include various committee recommendations for submission to the IRS and other TAP related topics. Public input is welcomed.
